वृत्तयस्तु तदानीमप्यज्ञाता आत्मगोचराः । स्मरणादनुमीयन्ते व्युत्थितस्य समुत्थिताः ॥ Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe. So many books, so little time.
In a vast universe, mysteries unfold,
Where human wisdom starts to unravel, I'm told.
For two things are infinite, so they say,
The universe expands, while mayhem holds sway.
Behold, human folly, the force that reigns supreme,
A vast panorama of idiocy, it may seem.
From blunders in logic, to whims oh so wild,
A comedy of errors, in actions beguiled.
So many books, wisdom bound by ink's embrace,
Yet time plays a trick, speeding up the chase.
A clock's relentless tick, a constant reminder,
Of the limited time, we have as a finder.
Pages upon pages, knowledge whispers profound,
Yet we find ourselves lost, on a merry-go-round.
With words overflowing, like rivers that surge,
But the ocean remains vast, an eternal urge.
Infinite potential, on each library shelf,
But too few days, to explore knowledge's wealth.
Unread volumes gather dust, abandoned in tier,
A stark reminder of what seems unclear.
Two things are infinite, both vast and unknown,
Yet human stupidity, at times, takes the throne.
For the universe, vast and grand, holds its reign,
While humans, alas, ponder in constant refrain.
So let us not forget, in this earthly clime,
To seek wisdom's shore, one page at a time.
For though time may be fleeting, and ignorance abound,
Through books, we find solace, our intellect unbound.
