ગામ પાદર ઘર ગલી ઓળંગીને ચાલ્યો જઈશ,
હુંય મારા ભાગ્યની ક્ષણ જીવીને ચાલ્યો જઈશ.

છે અહીં પ્રત્યેક માણસ મોકલાયેલી ટપાલ,
હું જગત પાસે મને વંચાવીને ચાલ્યો જઈશ.

પુષ્પમાં સુગંધ મૂકી, વૃક્ષને ભીનાશ દઈ,
કોઈ પંખીના ગળામાં ટહુકીને ચાલ્યો જઈશ.

રાતના ઘરમાં પડેલું સૂર્યનું ટીપું છું હું,
કોડિયામાં સ્હેજ અમથું પ્રગટીને ચાલ્યો જઈશ.

છે સ્વજન દરિયા સમા, ના આવડે તરતા મને,
હું બધામાં થોડું થોડું ડૂબીને ચાલ્યો જઈશ.
