કેટલી અજીબ વાત કહેવાય ને
કોઈ સતત બોલ્યાં કરે તો

મન બેચેન બની જાય ,
અઢળક સવાલ ઊઠે ,
ના જાણે કેટલી કલ્પનાઓના પહાડ
બની જાય ,
ચૂપકીદી સહન ન થાય,
એનો અવાજ સાંભળવા
બેબાકળાં બની જવાય.
વાત કરવા મન તલપાપડ થઈ જાય.
પણ કેમ?કદાચ મીરાં એટલે જ
આ મનને ચંચળ કહેવાતું હશે.
