🇳🇵 माटी की कसम
हिमालय की गोद में बसा एक छोटा लेकिन स्वाभिमानी देश है—नेपाल। यहाँ की हवा में स्वतंत्रता की खुशबू है और मिट्टी में बलिदान की कहानी लिखी हुई है।
रामेछाप के एक छोटे से गाँव में जन्मा आनंद बचपन से ही अपने देश से गहरा प्रेम करता था। वह हर सुबह सूरज निकलते समय हिमालय की ओर देखकर कहता,
“एक दिन मैं नेपाल का नाम पूरे संसार में रोशन करूँगा।”
आनंद के पिता ब्रिटिश–भारतीय सेना में सेवा कर चुके एक पूर्व गोर्खा सैनिक थे। वे हमेशा कहते,
“बेटा, देशभक्ति सिर्फ हथियार उठाने से नहीं होती, देशभक्ति ईमानदारी, मेहनत और सच्चाई के रास्ते पर चलने से होती है।”
समय बीतता गया। आनंद पढ़ाई में होशियार बन गया। उसे विदेश जाने का सुनहरा मौका मिला, लेकिन उसने ठुकरा दिया।
उसने कहा,
“मेरे देश को मेरी ज़रूरत है।”
