The USA is perhaps the only country that allows to hoist the national flag of any country, as long as the US flag is beside it (may be by the rule).

This, besides being the democratic country, has to do with the fact that US is very confident of her technological progress, her superior air and military powers, her aviation mastery, her achievement of conquering certain segments of space, and tremendous progress in providing understanding of the awesome cosmos;
when you have superior self-confidence, you are not scared of others, and allowing other citizens to express their freedom in US, nothing is going to be lost;
on the contrary you are winning their hearts.
