"ગામનો વડલો"

ઊભાા ઊભા જોયાં કરું છું,
શબ્દો મનમાં બોલ્યા કરું છું.

અવસર આવે ગામમાં સારો,
ખાલી ખોટો દોડયાં કરું છું.

ભૂલકાં રમતાં ગામના ચોરે,
વડવાઈ સાથે રમ્યા કરું છું.

નિતનવા લોકો આવે ને જાય,
ધરતી ની સાથે રહયાં કરું છું.

વડીલ છે વડીલો સાક્ષી 'સવરુપ',
વર્ષો થી દ્રષ્યો નિહાળ્યા કરું છું.
