જ્યાં સાંજ ઢળી ને સમણાં જાગ્યાં;
તને મળવા આ પગ બમણાં ભાગ્યા;

તું છે કેટલી દૂર મારા દિલથી સનમ?
એ વિચારે હાથ જઈ લમણા લાગ્યા;

આહટ સાંભળી જો કોઇ પગરવની,
ડાબાની ભેગાં ભેગાં જમણાં વાગ્યાં;

આંખો ટકાવીને રાખી છે ખડકી પર,
ઉંબરા સંગ સંગ મેં આંગણાં તાક્યાં;

ના દેખાયું આંગણામાં જ્યારે કોઇ તો,
મારા આ દિલના હર ભ્રમણાં ભાંગ્યાં;
