It is unfortunate that the larger and greater classes of the people of most countries in the world depend too much on one or the other religion, rathar than any of the profound philosophies.
It is largely true that any religion in the hands of powerful people, all over the world, is misused.
Any religion is for the good of the practioners, and for the freedom of one's thought, be it for the country's progress, Nation building, and/or the happiness of one and all.
Any state that is not based and built on fundamental principle of
'humanitarian thought' is, in a process of time, most likely to be degraded and withered out.
(In the past and recent/present history there are several examples of such disasters, but the humans, as is their nature, forget this soon).
