Asking the time from Bhabhi,

But, her busy schedules and chores,
Will not free her.

When she used to come to sit,
With you then you posed busy,
Then where were you?
Engaged with writing books,
Busy with job, other chores of life,

Now only one closeness is left,
See, observe, and watch her,
Moving around.

Bapuji would retire,
But, never the Ba!
**
You are flying by the mind,
With the companionship of memories,
On the wings of times,
But, ever anyday have you heard,
Her sweet singings by resting,
Your head on her lap?

No, then this longing,
Will be always with you!

હવે તમે રિલેટિવલી ફ્રિ થયા એટલે,
ભાભીનો સમય માગો છો!
પણ એમને તો કાયમ કામ રહેવાનું,
તમે જ્યારે બીજી હતા, તો એ પણ,
તમારી પાસે બેસવા આવતા,
ત્યારે તમે ક્યાં હતા?
બીઝી હતા, બુકો લખવામાં, નોકરીમાં.

હવે બસ એક સાનિધ્ય જ રહ્યું,
નિરખો, નિરખો, હરતા ફરતા જુઓ,
બાપુજી રીટાયર થાય, બા કોઈદિવસ ન થાય,
યાદોના સથવારે સમયની પાંખ પર બેસી,
મનથી ઊડો છો ખરા,
પણ કોઈદિવસ એના ખોળામાં શિશ રાખી,
મધુર ગીત સાંભળ્યું છે?
ના, તો પછી આ તકલીફ તો રેવાની !
