We, and mostly, many of Indians are so fanatically believers of 'god', that we do not at all realize, that when we are in real distress, then only the friends, relatives, and well wishers come to our rescue; and no 'god' comes to save us. If we are sick, then correct diagnosis from doctors, and correctly prescribed medicines only can save us.
In certain cases, when we are victims of some accidents, then whoever are near us, they shift us quickly to emergency sections of any nearby hospitals, and if we get immediate attention, and treatment, then there are high chances, that we would be saved.
I consider such of these persons as saviours of humanity. And we waste lot of time in many things that have no direct bearings on our life.
We should become more mature and modern in our belief systems, that are based on very very old and even orthodox rituals, and in the process, we miss the real need of inculcating the humanitarian virtue of attention, care, affection, and kindness to our fellow beings, who are in dire need of love.
