TALE OF A TREE
Bare I was, because shed I had to, n that's what I sadly did; I shed off most of my leaves
But worry one must not, when in God, Nature, and humanity one firmly believes.
A kind little boy, his water bottle emptied daily on me, as home he went from school
For him, watering me and another nearby plant was a passion; it almost became a rule
It worried him, soon, his exams would start, followed by a summer vacation; n I was still bare.
He prayed to Ahura; "it will soon be Navrooz, may I request You, to both trees revive; I really about them care"
Look up he would daily, eagerly awaiting to see new, fresh little leaves, with a prayer on his lips
Just days 5 away from Navrooz we are, he thought, as he, his school left; filling his bottle, n taking a few sips.
Wow, lo behold ! what did he just see ! I had tiny little leaves bursting on my branches; all over me !
He looked Heavenward n was thrilled to this see; me, wearing a new garb; this glint of happiness in his little eyes; I loved to see !
