MY NEST, MY HOME

Hon. Mam,

Every corner of my soul, heart, and home , to you, is trying to speak

Justice to save my own little nest from wealthy n powerful land-sharks I seek

It is an appeal humble, to the mighty and powerful, from a person meek

This building is my home, every corner alive is, from every corner my departed ones speak

My hubby's Mama, (mother) who, for me, was an angel divine, her vibrations here speak

Produce they loving holy vibrations, like in a temple, from a deity one would seek

Every penny possible was used to this home buy, loans, FD, my gold we sold; that's why I cry n squeak

Let not the powerful snatch away my precious temple. Let not corrupt power win against the weak.

MY FIRST LOVE LETTER

Reluctance, hesitancy, shyness, anxiety, all at once came pouring in;

My head, heart n hands just didn't coordinate; ohh, filled with papers was my dustbin

Disturbed I was; perhaps, reading it would disturb her; my beloved queen

This I could never think of; imagining her shedding tears, oh, that felt like a sin!

My heart overflowing with love n emotions was,
Choked I felt, n was at a loss of words.

Then heard I, a voice musical n sweet as
watched I, a cute singing bird.

Overwhelming feelings then poured out; n expressed them I did, in words unheard

Slid that letter awkwardly in her hands I did; my first love letter, quietly, without a single word.

Ahhh ! as she took it, I saw a glint in her eyes; my heart skipped a beat; super excited I was indeed!

Held my breath
I did, hoping against hope, she will, this first love letter read.

Crossing my fingers I did; hoping with all my heart, to her acceptance my letter would lead

From her, in her glance, words or deed, an assurance I desperately did need.

N... next to A Doc n Mother she is, in healing n compassion

U... unstintingly, tirelessly she slogs to aid every patient

R... resilience she has aplenty; a natural inbuilt grit yet filled with patience

S... silently, composed, she assists doctors as well as irate n demanding patients

E... endlessly struggling she is, between hospital, society n home.

Thought a dog, though they bark like me, mankind is very far from being faithful

Wondering was a cat, they have enough food, yet, just like me, they steal

A fox said, " I am shocked! Men are much more cunning than I am, n most ungrateful too"

A croc felt disgusted, when he saw a man attacking another, stabbing his back

A Chamillion was amazed; OMG how can a man change so many colors n that too, so efficiently n quickly!!!

Come EASTER, and see we, beautiful baskets filled with chocolate bunnies n Easter eggs all over the place

A beginning new, an era commenced; sprang new life from eggs, and cute chicks replace

Clue, I have none, how n why this practise did start, but all I can think is, it does bring in spring
