Last Night
Last night,
I was recumbent on my bed.
Nocturnals were chirping with their squad.
The clock was showing half past eleven,
Only me in the house was awaken.
Suddenly my window veil started budging,
Perhaps a pleasant wind had set into breezing.
I did the curtain a little aside
To let the soft wind come inside.
A beautiful Desire struck my mind
Of seeing the misty full moon night.
I raised up and went outside
To capture the scene in the camera of my eyes.
But the nature did a spontaneous transform.
Breeze soon turned into torrential rainstorm.
I ran inside and latched the door very soon,
Again I laid down on the bed in my room.
After about half-an- hour
Slowed down the wind and the downpour.
My arms having pillow within,
Don't know when my eyelids shut in.
When I woke up today morning,
And remembered the feeling of last- night-raining
The only phrase wafted out of my throat
Wow! What a prodigious experience I had
Last night!
