-किया कभी पूरा किसने?...
थे किये जो प्रभु से वादों को।
आते ही सभी भुलाता है,
जस आया था तस जाता है।।

-फाने ऐसे छीना-झपटी,
लोग कहें पापी-कपटी।
करे अकरम ना पूण्य कमाये,
निर्बल हरि जन खूब सताये।।

-परपीड़ा मन बड़ा सुहाये,
देख व्यथित धरणी अकुलाये।
गठरी एक बढा कर मुरख,
फिर-फिर आते-जाते हैं।।

-निकल ना इनसे पाते हैं,
वृथा ही जन्म गंवाते हैं।।
