Mom always say, “Enjoy music like you breathe. It is one of the best companions to share your feelings with." Whether it is an innocent, loud laugh of a kid or a silent'mumbling’ of a pigeon, whether it is a cheerful ‘Hi’ from a teenager or a morning alarm of a cuckoo, everywhere divinity reveals its’ presence and existence. So here I am trying to list out some of my all-time favorite melodies from different genres. Each song or album presented here has induced very special emotions inside me. So here we go...
1. Tip tip barsa pani: If I have to choose the top 3 of my most favorite songs of rain, this would definitely be on the list after ‘Kate nahi katate (Mr. India)’ and ‘Taal se Taal (Taal)’. Even if you listen to this extremely sensuous and sexy song during the non-rainy season, it still moistens your feelings and will generate sparks in your mind. That’s the mesmerizing effect of Raveeeeenaa!!! Witnessing a hot Raveena in a drenched yellow sari can be nothing less than a pleasant treat. Sometimes it’s nothing less than a punishment to be just an audience! After this song, Raveena was one of my daydreams. (Of course, while awake, use dekhne ke baad kambhakht nind hi kise aati thi.) Sensuousness is not just about the body. It involves so many elements like environment, body language, artistic (and, of course, smart) exposure, and a pure carefree attitude. Even Poonam Pandey with small clothes can never look as sensuous and hot as Raveena in a chilled, wet yellow sari. And of course, when awesome ever-green electronic beats of Viju shah, just like the tennis ball fully drenched in heavy rain, hit the surface, lyrics hit us covered in the dazzling attractions of Raveena. Cool-cool rain with a hot-hot couple generates sensual heat in the icy-icy body. Just like summer burns for rain, this song sparks fire somewhere inside.
