In her eyes, innocence once soared,
Did it flew or simply fade away?
The sincere smile that graced her face,
Did it turn blind or was it I ?
Glancing back, it all felt like a dream,
A dream or did her memory fade?
Lament echoed with each backward gaze,
Glimpses of past, a cherished memory.
As she walked away, leaving memories behind,
I clung to my thoughts, an echoing bind.
Thoughts transformed into haunting goblins,
Trying to strangle me through endless nights.
The rage igniting in her eyes,
Setting my heart ablaze, questioning my inner soul,
Did I do anything wrong
Or is it a mere misunderstanding
Or is she bearing burdens for my good?
I sought the truth amidst the chaos,
Is this reality or a skilled acting?
Battling with my own thoughts,
I strived to endure, but each attempt left me scorched.
Yet, as someone once conveyed,
In hope, I found solace, a rainbow portrayed.
Becoming strangers, though once intimately known,
Still, in the dance of seasons, hope is sown.
Awaiting the return of spring's gentle grace,
