SOUND SLEEP
Wondered I, when did I last, soundly sleep ?
At this I remembered; I would have to into the past peep.
As a youth, I had sleep, which was relaxing, truly deep.
I would rarely hear a tel. ring or an alarm clock beep
Then, the usual anxieties of one's life, slowly did seep.
Troubles, sorrows one by one, often did peep;
Lost I have my sleep precious; now often awake I keep;
Or get up at a sound slightest, startled, with a leap.
Pray I to Ahura, to cure n improve my pattern of sleep.
