કવિતા મહીં એક કહાની લખું છું!
કલમ થકી મારી જુબાની લખું છું !

જગાડે હેતની હેલી હૈયાં ભીતર;
ગઝલ ભલે કોઈ તોફાની લખું છું !

જગાવે પ્રેમનો અહેસાસ ઉર મધ્યે ;
માધવ ઘેલી બની દિવાની લખું છું!

વહાવી વ્હાલ મારી કલમ મારફતે;
કાગળ પર એક નિશાની લખું છું !

રોકીને આંસુને મારી પાંપણ ઉપર;
'સહજ' વાત મારી પોતાની લખું છું !
