બસ બધું મેળવી લેવું અને કંઈ જતુ નથી કરવું,
શું એ જ હવે જીવનની વ્યાખ્યા બની ગઈ છે?

જે ખુશી મે બે ટંકના રોટલા માટે મહેનત કરતા મજૂરની આંખમાં જોઇ છે,
એ કરોડોના માલિકના હોઠો પર દૂર દૂર સુધી નથી દેખાતી.

તો બધું મેળવી ને પણ શું મેળવી લીધું?
આટલી બધી ચિંતા પછી પણ શાંતિ મળી?
આટલા બધા ધમપછાડા પછી પણ શું ખુશી મળી?

આ સવાલનો જવાબ હજી કોઈને નથી મળ્યો.
બધું મેળવી લેવાની ઘેલછામાં માણસ જીવનના ઉત્તમ વર્ષો ખોઈ દે છે
અને પછી જતી જિંદગીએ એ વાતનો અફસોસ કરતો રહે છે.

જિંદગી કંઈ નાની નથી હોતી.
પણ જ્યારે આ જિંદગીના જટિલ રસ્તાઓનું જ્ઞાન થાય છે,
ત્યાં સુધીમાં આ જીવનયાત્રા સમેટવાનો સમય આવી જાય છે.
