Today was all about getting my hands a little dirty and making my little garden feel alive again. After the rainy season, the back garden had turned into a messy little patch of leaves, mud, and bits of forgotten things — nothing dramatic, but enough to make it look like it had been through a storm. I decided it was time to do something about it.
I started by clearing up the area, picking up dead leaves and sweeping away the dirt that had collected over the past weeks. He watched me the whole time, probably thinking I was being way too dramatic, but I swear he appreciated it in his own way. When I finally set him back in his space, he curled up, looking cozy and content.
By the end of the day, the garden looked fresh, Oreo’s corner was neat, and I felt this amazing sense of calm and satisfaction. It was one of those simple days where small efforts turn into a big feeling of peace. Just me, the garden, Oreo nearby, and the quiet joy of creating something beautiful with my own hands.
