આવી ચકલીઓ
આવી ગઈ સૌના આંગણે ચકલીઓ,
આવીને જુના માળા તપાસતી ચકલીઓ!..
ખાલી કરે જુના માળા એ જાતે,
લાવે તણખલાં ને નવા માળા બનાવે!...
તારની તણીએ સૂકાતા કપડામાં ઝાંખે,
માળો બાંધવાને એ તણખલા લાવે!...
