एषां साक्षिणमात्मानं चिद्रूपं विद्धि मुक्तये ॥
तच्चक्षुषाऽजिघृक्षत् तन्नाशक्नोच्चक्षुषा ग्रहीतु/न् स
यद्धैनच्चक्षुषाऽग्रहैष्यद्दृष्ट्वा हैवानमत्रप्स्यत् ॥
The path to liberation transcends the physical world. Earth, water, fire, air, sky – even the divine – offer no true escape from the cycle of rebirth. Enlightenment lies in recognizing yourself as the eternal witness, the constant consciousness that observes all these manifestations. This concept is illustrated through the metaphor of someone desperately trying to smell a fragrance with their eyes. They are attempting the impossible, seeking an experience through the wrong sense. Similarly, focusing solely on the external world through sight will ultimately lead to disappointment. True understanding comes from looking inward, for what we see with our physical eyes will ultimately be impermanent and potentially lead to shame or dissatisfaction. Only by recognizing ourselves as the unchanging observer can we achieve true liberation.
We’re all human, and we all have a heart, It’s time to break the barriers, and make a new start. To see beyond our differences, and embrace our similarities, To build a world of unity, where we all can live in clarity.
Witness to Existence
Neither the earth, nor water's flow,
Nor fire's dance, nor air's gentle blow,
Nor the vast expanse of the sky above,
Can contain the essence of Your love.
For the sake of liberation, you must see
Yourself as the witness, eternally free,
Observing all manifestations unfold,
The mysteries of life, yet untold.
He wanted to smell it with his eyes,
But fragrance eludes the visual guise,
For scent is the language of the soul,
That lingers beyond sight's control.
Whatever he sees with his eyes,
He'll be ashamed, for truth lies
Beyond the veil of physical sight,
In the realm where spirit takes flight.
Witness to existence, pure and true,
Transcending senses, embracing the new,
Liberate yourself from the world's illusion,
And find bliss in eternal fusion.
