નિભાવવાં નથી સરળ, પ્રીતના વચનો;
થાય સફળ કે નિષ્ફળ, પ્રીતના વચનો;

વિરહ મળે કે પછી મળે મિલન પ્રેમમાં,
કરે સદા આંખો સજળ, પ્રીતના વચનો;

કરવી છે આસાન, નિભાવી મુશ્કેલ પ્રીત!
ને હોય છે કાયમ અકળ, પ્રીતના વચનો;

નથી કૈં સહેલું ચાલવું આ પ્રણય પથ પર,
વફાદારીથી થાય ઝળહળ, પ્રીતના વચનો;

મળે બિરુદ બેવફાનું "વ્યોમ" પ્રણયમાં,
જો કરવામાં આવે વિફળ, પ્રીતના વચનો;
