When somebody hurts you,
You feel a pain,
And if your own wife hurts you,
You feel a royal pain.

After the operation of my broken elbow,
Just after one month,
The surgeon started stretching out,
My arm, by saying that I would be,
Experiencing a 'Meetha (meedhha?) Dard',
The sweet pain,
And I did feel that way only,
I had never known the difference,
Between hurt-pain and sweet pain,
Until then!

The pain is a pain indeed,
But, the mind can take it differently,
It is the matter of feelings,
The royal or sweet, or 'hurt',
Beyond a limit,
It is upsetting pain only.
