We the humans have an uncanny urge to show that we are pious, and followers of one or the other path of 'faith', else we feel that we would be dubbed as 'non-believers', or atheist, i.e. 'naastic', and large classes of people will look down upon us; and of course we are also guided by the ancient books on religions, and the preachers, who also might have taken that path under one or other pretext; also we face uncertainties in our lives, so we want to guard ourselves and our loved ones; but in a long run all these beliefs have had a marginal utility; and most of our efforts, time and money have not been very useful; pure philosophical thoughts are more beneficial and satisfying than superficial religionic endeavours.
