On a Vidhansoudha (sabha) building in Bangalore, there was inscribed:
"The government work is God's work".
I had seen this during 1975 or so!

If all the govt officials had worked with this motto in their minds, thoughts, and actions, the country would have become nearly a fully humanitarian state by now.
This is my utopian thought.

Such a state is the one in which all would have cultivated the virtue of 'compassion' toward their brethren.

We have seen the gory results of the lack of this characteristic during last two/three years in the country, especially during the CoViD months.
