Gatusko: Oji, good that you did, we have to look forward to the day when all eligible people of our country get vaccinated. This pandemic has also brought out the importance of basic science; much of which, it seems we have forgotten.
O: Yes very much. A similar major situation had occurred in 1918-1919, and one or two other in between; but in a process of time, and hassled life, most, even all of us forget (have forgotten) the lessons learnt in a hard way. That is the way of humans.
G: Most will get vaccinated, but the population in our country is so much that it will take considerable time and effort.
O: And the lawmakers have in between their own agenda to establish and prove; when in our basic governance, if the fundamental cause of 'humanitarianism' is not deep-rooted, then whatever programs we implement, they will not bring benefits to under-previledged and deprived classes of our citizens.
G: That is the point of worry, but the people at large do not understand this aspect of our social behaviour.
O: When will we appreciate the need of good science and good cause?
G: I do not know.
