The Thorny Path
The thorny path
Now no longer pricks
May be they too have experienced the pain
Of tenderness nearby
The petals so soft
Tried to sooth the path
To make the thorns
Spread everywhere
But No! Said they
We don't need you
Let us be there with our own will said they
And Lo! The wind did hear
Their calls and blew so harsh
That all the petals just withered away.
Now the reign of the thorns remain
In the heart and soul
With no all the pricks from the past till the day
In such a densed way so packed
That no any tricks they make
To prick anyone
Walking with love with them
For they now have understood the pain
From the love and tenderness and care so far
From the people whom they cared
