ઊર્મીઓનુ ઝરણું એટલે કવિતા,

હર્ષની ભાવનાનું મોજું એટલે કવિતા,

હૃદયમાં વહેતી સરિતા એટલે કવિતા,

લાગણીની ગુંથાતી માળા એટલે કવિતા,

વિચારોનો ઉઠેલો વંટોળ એટલે કવિતા,

શોકની શબ્દરૂપે પ્રગટ કરતું ટીપું એટલે કવિતા,

પ્રેમમાં દિલમાંથી વરસેલી લાગણી એટલે કવિતા,
