પથ્થર છું પછી તરવું શું,
માણસ થઇ ને મરવું શું !

વરસવું તો પછી બારેમેઘ,
ઝરમર થઇ ને ઝરવું શું !

થવાનું બધું થયા જ કરે,
લાચાર આપણે કરવું શું !

આગળ વધી કેટલા વધવું,
આ છેલ્લે પાછા ફરવું શું !
