ફક્ત એક જ ટકો કાફી છે, પૂરતો છે મહોબતમાં,
ને નવ્વાણું ટકા બાકીના ખર્ચી નાખ હિંમતમાં.

મુકામ એવો પણ આવે છે કોઈ વેળા મહોબતમાં,
ફરક જ્યારે નથી રહેતો અવજ્ઞામાં કે સ્વાગતમાં.

નહીં એ કામ લાગે હો હજાર ઊભરા મહોબતમાં,
