ક્યાં ખોવાઈ ગયું એ બાળપણ?

યુવાની ની આ ઢળતી સાંજે ,
બાળપણ ની યાદ લઈને બેઠો છું..

આ સ્વાર્થી અને છળકપટ ની દુનિયા માં,
બાળપણ ના એ નિસ્વાર્થ મિત્રતા ની યાદ લઈને બેઠો છું..

છે આજે મોટી ગાડી, ઘર અને દરેક સુખ સુવિધા,
છતાં પણ બાળપણ મા એ ચાવી થી ચાલતી ગાડી નો આનંદ મન મા લઈને બેઠો છું..

ઉડુ છું આજે આખા જગત થી ઉપર,
છતાં પણ કાગળ ના એ વિમાન ની મજા હૃદય મા લઈને બેઠો છું..

સમય વીત્યો અને ખોવાયો હું યુવાની ના દરિયા માં,
એ દરિયા માં પણ મારા બાળપણ ને શોધવા બેઠો છું..

રૂપિયા અને સફળતા ની આ મોહમાં મા એટલો મોટો થઈ ગયો,
કે એમાં મારું ચંચળ બાળપણ જ ખોવાઈ ગયુ.

SAHAJ SABHARWAL OF DPS JAMMU WINS STAR PROUD AWARD-2019

Sahaj Sabharwal (XII-B), a budding poet from Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and his parents by winning ‘Star Proud Award-2019 for his appreciable work in Poetry and Literature. The competition was held online on 1st June, 2019 where millions of people across the country took part. Further, 100 people were selected for the final event in which Sahaj was awarded ‘Star Proud Award-2019’. He was also facilitated with an appreciation certificate and a medal.  He was also selected to be invited for the International Writers Meeting to be held in Tarija, Bolivia and Hungary. He was awarded with the International Diploma in writing and International Merit Certificate in writing and was published by the Young Writers Association in UK and received Certificate of Publication from UK. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated Sahaj and his parents for the achievement. She also blessed him for the future events. Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to Sahaj and his parents.

ગઝલ

એક નાના કાંકરે આખી નદી ડ્હોળાય નૈં,
પણ શું એનાથી જરા અમથું વમળ પણ થાય નૈં?

આવું કહેતા કહેતા આખી જિંદગી જીવી ગયો,
“આ રીતે તો એક દાડો પણ હવે જીવાય નૈં.”

એ કહે કે બહુ બટકણી ડાળ છે વિશ્વાસની,
ત્યાં જ બટક્યો હું ને એણે શું કહ્યું સંભળાય નૈં.

મજબૂરી – બજબૂરી જે કે તે બધુંયે સાચું પણ,
આ રીતે તો કોઈને ક્યારેય તરછોડાય નૈં.

લાગણી છે એટલે લપસાય પણ, છોલાય પણ;
લીલવાળા માર્ગ પર ઝાઝો સમય દોડાય નૈં.

તારું લેવલ તો શિખર કરતાં ય ઊંચું છે અનિલ,
પણ રહે તું મધ્યમાં જ્યાં ટોચ નૈં તળિયાં ય નૈં.
