Independence Day: More Than a Celebration 🇮🇳
हर वर्ष 15 अगस्त आते ही हमारा हृदय गर्व से भर जाता है। तिरंगा देखकर हमारे भीतर देशभक्ति की भावना जागती है और हम उन अनगिनत स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों को याद करते हैं, जिन्होंने भारत की स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपना जीवन समर्पित कर दिया।
Every year, August 15 reminds us of the courage, sacrifice and dreams of those who dedicated their lives to India's freedom. The Tricolour is not merely a flag; it reminds us of our history, our unity and our responsibility towards the nation.
लेकिन स्वतंत्रता दिवस केवल एक उत्सव नहीं है। यह स्वयं से एक प्रश्न पूछने का दिन भी है—आजाद भारत के नागरिक होने के नाते हमारी जिम्मेदारी क्या है?
Independence is not only a celebration of the past; it is also a responsibility for the future.
भारत की स्वतंत्रता अनगिनत ज्ञात और अज्ञात लोगों के संघर्ष और बलिदान का परिणाम थी। किसी ने जेल की यातनाएँ सहन कीं, किसी ने अपना घर छोड़ा और किसी ने अपना पूरा जीवन देश के नाम कर दिया।
They dreamed of an India where people could live with dignity, receive education, express their thoughts freely and build a better future.
आज हमारे सामने चुनौतियों का स्वरूप बदल गया है। अब हमें अशिक्षा, गरीबी, भ्रष्टाचार, भेदभाव, बेरोजगारी, अंधविश्वास और सामाजिक असमानता जैसी समस्याओं का सामना करना है।
Today, building the nation is not the responsibility of one person or one institution. Every citizen has a role to play.
एक विद्यार्थी ईमानदारी से पढ़ता है, एक शिक्षक जिम्मेदारी से शिक्षा देता है, एक किसान मेहनत करता है, एक कर्मचारी ईमानदारी से अपना काम करता है और एक नागरिक कानून का सम्मान करता है—ये सभी राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान देते हैं।
Patriotism is not only about standing at the border. Patriotism is also reflected in our everyday actions.
हम अपने अधिकारों की बात करते हैं और करनी भी चाहिए। लेकिन अधिकारों के साथ अपने कर्तव्यों को याद रखना भी उतना ही आवश्यक है।
Protecting public property, caring for nature, respecting women and children, helping those in need, following the law and promoting harmony in society—these may appear to be small actions, but together they create a stronger nation.
हमारे देश की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति उसकी विविधता है। अलग-अलग भाषाएँ, संस्कृतियाँ, परंपराएँ और विचार भारत को विशेष बनाते हैं।
Our diversity is not our weakness; it is one of our greatest strengths.
इसलिए सच्ची देशभक्ति का अर्थ किसी दूसरे को छोटा समझना नहीं है। सच्ची देशभक्ति अपने देश से प्रेम करने के साथ-साथ उसके प्रत्येक नागरिक के सम्मान को स्वीकार करना है।
True patriotism means loving our country while respecting the dignity, rights and humanity of every citizen.
इस स्वतंत्रता दिवस एक छोटा-सा संकल्प
A Small Pledge This Independence Day 🇮🇳
आइए इस स्वतंत्रता दिवस हम केवल शुभकामनाएँ साझा न करें, बल्कि अपने जीवन में कुछ छोटे संकल्प भी लें।
Let us not only celebrate freedom, but also become responsible citizens who help strengthen the nation.
हम ईमानदारी से अपना काम करेंगे।
We will perform our duties honestly.
हम शिक्षा को महत्व देंगे।
We will value education and learning.
हम जरूरतमंदों की सहायता करेंगे।
We will help those who need support.
हम प्रकृति और सार्वजनिक संपत्ति की रक्षा करेंगे।
We will protect nature and public property.
हम महिलाओं, बच्चों और बुजुर्गों का सम्मान करेंगे।
We will respect women, children and senior citizens.
और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण—हम अपने अधिकारों के साथ अपने कर्तव्यों को भी याद रखेंगे।
We will remember our responsibilities along with our rights.
क्योंकि स्वतंत्रता केवल अपनी इच्छा से जीवन जीने का अधिकार नहीं है। स्वतंत्रता यह जिम्मेदारी भी है कि हमारी स्वतंत्रता किसी दूसरे के अधिकार, सम्मान या सुरक्षा को नुकसान न पहुँचाए।
Freedom gives us rights, but it also gives us responsibility.
आजादी हमें मिली है, लेकिन आजाद भारत को बेहतर बनाना हमारी जिम्मेदारी है।
We inherited freedom from the sacrifices of the past, but building a better India is our responsibility today.
इस स्वतंत्रता दिवस तिरंगे को केवल सलामी न दें। अपने विचारों, अपने कर्मों और अपने चरित्र को भी उसके सम्मान के योग्य बनाएं।
Let us not only salute the Tricolour; let us make our actions worthy of its honour.
