A PLEA TO AHURA
Unto you I make O Mighty Mazda, a plea small n meek
For this endeavour, Your blessings, my Lord, I sincerely seek
Sums big I donate cannot, aware I am; but the sum may small be, as small as a bird's beak
Those elders who move cannot due to immense pain, when their knees creak;
May be collect I can, finance little, for this Infirmary's upkeep
Some diapers n drawsheets, so as to hold the urine, which would otherwise seep.
The sum collected from the sale of my books on Amazon, hopefully in a big heap
Besides, may every book change every reader for the better, when into my books, they peep.
Spend we so much on clothes n fashion of ours, every time we into luxuries we indulge;
With our buying-mania, we sometimes unnecessarily into over-shopping plunge
Also, can we not buy a book or two instead of a rich meal; n also prevent that big tummy bulge !
Good books help us to better people become, when into them we deeply plunge.
