સાવ મતલબ વિનાની વાતોમાં કલાકોના કલાકો વીતી જતા,
પછી શું દિન કે શું રાત, મા સાદ પાડી જમવા બોલાવે,
એક કોળિયો આ ગલોફે ને એક કોળિયો બીજા ગલોફે,
ને એય ને પાછા ખોવાઈ જતા એકબીજાના સાનિધ્યમાં,
દોસ્ત ને દોસ્તીથી વિશેષ તો કંઈ જ નહોતું એ સમયમાં,
ખભા પર હાથ નાખી ચાલવાનો હક્ક દોસ્તનો જ રહેતો,
આજે એ બેમતલબની વાતોનો મતલબ સમજાય છે,
ત્યારે ના તો એ વાતો છે, ના એ દોસ્ત છે, ના એ સમય!
