The old sun withers
As he spray away the sparks
The light that he shimmered
Now lays in the dark
With qualms in the eyes
He peers at his kin
But oh what is good
And oh what is sin
He reaches the sky
And paves the floor
Bare of the bricks
Yet all full of hopes
The world is a cycle
Some live some die
If he is a human
He just wants to fly
The days passed
Then years were gone
And there he was sitting
In a freckled fuzzy fall
A chamber of fear
A wail to gods
And then he was going
Away from us all
With stern smile
On our morning chairs
We raised the cups
For a nightingale
But the song was dreary
It took our stride
The old sun withered
Away in the light
