Married daughter: Now, my second daughter is a teenager. Both the daughters are growing very fast.
Father: Better for you, if they grow faster.
D: Yes true, but I miss their childhood.
F: You can write memoirs about that.
D: Phew...Right now time is hardly there for me...Good idea. Will do so sometime.
F: Tell them to write down, one page a day, or even one paragraph, when free as their recreational activities, as their memoirs, impressions, and then when you get time, you can add on, refine etc.
D: They themselves are busy too.
F: Yes, when there is even a little time, they/you can do small writings, instead of listening to others' stories, their gossips, and other junk melodramas, etc. on TV. Isn't it true?
D: Yes, but we mostly avoid many of these. But, sometimes they are relaxing too.
F: That is good. But, in most cases, such programs are designed to feed your ego, and then you continue to watch, and their job is done, and your job is not done so much.
D: Yes, true to a larger extent.
F: They use their creative inguinity to make you hooked on to their shows, and you lose your active time to usher your own creativity, and you spend money for that! It is a vicious circle. I feel we are paying others to spoil our minds; if not totally, but at least partially; that is my observation and personal experience.
D: So, then what do we do?
F: Once you get into a habit of writing, it would become much easier, and also very relaxing, as if you have told or are telling to some elders your long-journey accounts, like travelogues, and your mind will feel greatly relieved. It would be a new and wonderful experience, especially for your own mind.
D: We will try.
F: The above is my suggestion, to put in practice is in your own hands.
