Some well known couplets:
If a stone goes to a temple even once,
It becomes a god's idol,
If a man repeatedly goes to temple,
He becomes a stone!
The temples and masjid,
Are wonderful places,
Outside of which the poor beg,
Inside, the rich beg!
In prayers, we ask and not give anything,
In meditation, we give away ourselves,
To almighty!
We demad from God,
More and more wealth,
And happiness,
Protection and security.
We are more selfish,
Than selfless,
We want to fill ourselves,
And do not want to become empty.
Some new thoughts:
Our ego prevents us from being,
Free from worldly possessions,
The same ego protects us,
From being docile and actionless,
This is a complex puzzle.
If the ego is null,
Then it is said, we are redeemed,
Yet, the same ego,
Allows me to walk,
A bit above the land,
Giving me a feeling of lightness,
Like I am swimming in waters,
And feel weightless.
Any egoism, egoistic feeling is not bad,
If it doesn't harm anybody,
Otherwise, it is better to eliminate it.
