Human Intelligence
We humans like to call ourselves intelligent. We measure the intelligence of other species against our own. (Orangutans are as intelligent as a seven-year-old human child. Dogs are as intelligent as a three-year-old human child. Etc)
What is intelligence? What is human intelligence? I think it is just a buttress we created for our fragile human egos. We are the only species that has to plunder the environment to live a comfortable life, we describe the destruction of natural jungles and creation of concrete jungles as ‘progress’ and ‘development’ and we are the one species that is on the brink of mass suicide and we are also about to take the planet with us.
Then we call ourselves intelligent………
