COMMON THREAD
Science, spirituality and philosophy – The more I understand one, the better I understand the other two. (Then I realize that I do not understand either of them!!)
Science talks about the physical world that we can see and perceive, directly or through instruments.
Spirituality talks about the world and dimensions whose existence we cannot prove through any visible proof but whose existence we know about deep inside our being.
Philosophy connects the two. It acts as a bridge between the two. Philosophy connects the manifested and the unmanifested, the visible and the invisible.
We start walking the visible path towards the invisible. As we walk towards the invisible, we need the support of philosophy more and more.
However, the real aim is to get free of all philosophies. It is to realize that there is something beyond the three – science, spirituality and philosophy.
So, the path from the visible to the invisible does not end at the invisible. This is just the first phase of the journey.
The ultimate goal is to realize that there is something common in all three. Something that has always been there waiting to be realized. It is a common thread that is close to us, closer than we can ever imagine.
