We may boast of modernisation ,
A lavish lifestyle and urbanisation ,
Free trade travel and globalisation ,
Tall skyscrapers and deforestation ,
All this is leading to a devastation ,
We were warned ahead for a pandemic ,
Caused by a virus unknown to academics ,
Man made it easy for virus jumping ,
And infiltrating in human being ,
Still haven’t learnt a lesson ,
Our misery isn’t going to lessen ,
And our life won’t be usual ,
If we continue to be casual .
