આ કહાણી છે હર એક વિધવાની.
એના આંસુઓથી છલકાતા નયન.
છાના ખુણે જઈને જ સદા એ રોતી.
ડરતી એ કોઈ જાણે ના એનું રુદન.
કહેતું મન, એ હતાં તો કેવું સારું હતું!
મનથી પોલી, પણ બહાર લાગે કઠણ!
પતિ વિનાની એની આ દુનિયા છે એવી.
