પાણી બહારના માછલાં હારું,
ભીમ સરીખું બળ શોધું છું.

ઉકળતા મનનાં ઉકરાટને બાળવા,
ખાલી ખૂણે એક એકાંત શોધું છું.

હરવરથી છલકતી મારી ગાગરને ઠાલવવાં,
સાયર સરીખો ખાડો શોધું છું.

આવે છે રોજ વિભાવરી શાંત સંદેશો લઈને,
પણ શબ્દોને નિરખવા નિર્મલ નેત્ર શોધું છું.

મુજ નૈનોની શું ઔકાત કે સારા-નરસાનો ભેદ જાણે,
એ પાખંડીને પારખવા તો બસ એક પરવર દિગાર શોધું છું.
