I was walking on the road in the evening. I heard a loud screeching sound and saw a big bus suddenly coming to a grinding halt perilously close to an 8 year old boy, who had all of a sudden decided to cross the road on a childish impulse.
Very visibly enraged, the burly driver of the bus alighted from the bus with a mouthful of profanities and was about to hit the boy, when he realized that the cowering boy was in shock with his limbs trembling uncontrollably.
The driver stopped in his tracks. Held the boy encouragingly, smiled at him, took out a bar of chocolate from his pocket; handed it to him and gently guided him to the side of the road.
In that sudden sublimation of emotions, I could see God in all His Bright Resplendence...........in a long long time.
