When Life Taught Me to Begin Again
I did not feel like going anywhere,
The whole world seemed to be slipping away.
Nothing felt good,
And I could find no one
Who could comfort my heart
Or ease my pain.
There was a vastness of pain within me,
When suddenly, my eyes fell upon an ant.
It was carrying a burden many times its size,
Yet it kept moving forward,
Living for life,
And still finding a reason to go on.
That tiny creature made me realize—
Life does not always have to be easy
For us to keep moving.
Sometimes, we simply have to find
A new path for ourselves.
So I, too, decided to move forward,
To begin again,
To leave behind what had passed,
And find my own new way.
Sometimes, the smallest creature
Can teach us the greatest lesson—
To keep moving,
And begin again today.
