TRY
New year resolutions, promises to self and others is indeed a very good thing ;
But if difficult this is n succeed we don't in our endeavour, just a smile to someone bring
Lord kind, encourage me to constantly better become; let me consistently try
Human it is to err; but try let me to always improve; cry I may, but my tears I must dry
Learn I must to live by the day, rather by the moment; and for future no plans make
Promise myself I must only for the day; any plans, resolutions somehow seem to be at stake
Instead of a new year resolution, let me just this day plan; for tomorrow I may not see !
Plan I do, to a seed plant; someone, some day can eat the fruit from that tree
Help me please, Dear Lord, to live a day, at a time; that way, worry I will not about tomorrow
One thing certain seems, years or even many days from You, I wish not to borrow
Strength I have not, to walk a mile or go out n someone's tears wipe, in a grand style;
So my resolution is just for this day, no piles; just help me to make someone smile.
