प्रिय पेन्सिल,
जीवन की पहेली लिखाई तुम्हीं ने शिखाई,
नई-नई थी दोस्ती बच्चों को बहुत राझ आई।

पहले पहले पकड़ नहीं आती है,
फिर तो ट्रेन की तरह चलती जाती है।

कुछ समय बाद उसकी जगह पेन ले जातीं है,
