Recently, I got the following comments from my cousin brother:
Prof. B. V. Raol: From delaying in responding to political comments, I guess that probably you are not interested in politics and donnot wish to get involved in political debate. However, this one is with reference to the current scenario in India and particularly in Gujarat. You, me and a few others had set up examples that one can progress individually without anyone's support.

My reply:
I am generally aware of what is happening around us, and since I am not well versed with writing anything on political matters, I feel it is better not to comment on such aspects, else some more damage might happen, inadvertently though; In such matters it is better to be quiet rather than being vocal.
Also, I always concentrated on my project works, research, and reading reports and publications related to aerospace engineering, and since I have had no degree or education in the Aerospace field and I was supposed to do R&D in that very field, due to the circumstances I was in; hence, I was always busy to prove my ability and in contributing to the very difficult field of flight mechanics & control, so except the family aspects (and keeping in touch with close relatives), other things took least priority for me.
Even after my retirement, I guided 5 faculty members of MSRIT for their doctoral works, and I wrote six technical books, and still I am guiding three more asstt. profs. for thier PhDs, and writing articles on social, philosophical, and science aspects of human nature and development.
This is much more entertaining and satisfying than getting involved in political matters.
