1. Path of Love (स्नेह पथ)
While packing up the belongings Anju was murmering, “I am late once again.” As soon as she reached towards her car, “Oh Shit! I have left the key on the table, it is getting more late.” Irritatingly she rushed upwards to get the keys.
Now her car and her thoughts were in a state of mobility.
She wanted to reach home as early as possible. Her in-laws had come for a stay only for a couple of days. As such her mother-in-law was a very helpful lady but at present she had turned weak because of malaria. How she wished that she could serve her mother-in-law. Her face turned red as soon as the signal turned into Red.
She was getting late since last three days because of Foreign Delegation. Her husband was ordering food from outside since last two days. They didn’t like the food so ordered as it was too oily and chilly. She was happy at this signal. After reaching home, she was satisfied seeing her mother-in-law resting on bed.
Mummy, how are you feeling now? I was much busy today so only couldn’t enquire about your health.” It felt that she was feeling much guilty.
“I shall make something very tasty for you in a couple of minutes.”
“Arey! Why are you in such a hurry? Wash yourself and change your clothes.” Mother-in-law told her.
After getting fresh, she saw everyone seated on the dining table.
“Arey! Why did you order food today also, I would have prepared it.”
“Papa has cooked today.” Her husband very proudly declared.
Astonishingly, “Is it true Papa? Do you know cooking?”
“No, not exactly, today I have tried this National food in your mother’s direction.”
“Khichdi.”
Unlocking the cooker, “ Wow ! What a beautiful aroma.” Anju expressed her happiness.
She could not stop tears flowing, after putting the first morsel.
“It seems that I have added more chilly dear daughter-in-law.”
“No, papa it is not so, actually you have poured more love.”
