In a blink, I saw her alone,
Her mates had left for the day.
Searching for a mazarine stone,
I heard her lips to say,
Just this time O my loving God,
Bless me once again.
I had kept it in the pod,
Just before the rain.
I saw her face to feel the drops,
Her tears in form of pearl.
Crude was God who snips and lops,
A silly little girl.
Just then in another blink,
I saw her bubbly smile.
She had found it in the sink,
Someone played a guile.
God has ways to please the ones,
Who laude His honest deals.
God is just in all his runs,
For all who feel the zeals.
